(yep, I added that last one Josie Anna Pitcher š )
Yet, I can say that working with KIDZ can be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever haveā¦
Watching their fearless approach to trying new things with energy and enthusiasm - children have a lot to teach us about creativity.
As we grow older, we often lose touch with our inner child and become more focused on being practical and logical.
We start to believe that creativity is something that ONLY artists, musicians, and writers possess, and that we ourselves are not creativeā¦
But the truth is that creativity is a fundamental part of human nature, and it exists within all of us. We just need to re-learn how to tap into it.
When you watch a child draw or paint or build something, you can see how freely they express themselves, without worrying about others or whether it's "good" or not.
They don't have the same self-doubt and insecurity that adults often possess. They simply create for the sake of it!
Adults on the other hand... have become increasingly cynical and skeptical about the word ācreativityā.
If I had a pound for every time an adult told me "I'm not creative"... I would probably be in a new tax bracket by now! š
š It's also important to remember that creativity comes in many forms... It's not just about art or music or writing.
š Creativity can be found in problem-solving, in finding new ways to do things, in developing innovative business ideas, and so much more.
š Maybe we just need to expand our definition of what ācreativityā is and be open to exploring all the different ways it can benefit our wellbeing.
If anything, starting ART SIPPERS KIDZ has proven to me that āevery child is an artist... the problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.ā - Picasso šØšļø
Stay Curious. Stay Creative.
